Gabe Discovering His Laugh

Abuela Susana bought Gabe a little yellow rubber ball, and if pure, delirious laughter is the measure, it is his favorite toy yet.

So adorable! I notice he is not reaching for the ball, probably due to lack of stimulation, something his pool instruction will no doubt point out!

Oh - I miss my little buster! Guess I know what I'm getting him for Christmas - another ball. I want there to be a competition to see which ball he likes best. Plus, his cousin Gabe is IN LOVE with balls & I would like to see that competition as well.

Oh, he is so cute. I even love his buzz. And the laugh where he almost chokes, that is my favorite.

Hey! I totally read, and have commented, on your blog. I love hearing about your normal life in an exotic place! (Meaning, not in Utah!) And baby Gabe is A-DOR-ABLE (pronounced a dor ablay). And I totally want you to come redecorate my life and jewelry box. I realize I am a sporadic commenter, and will do better. Smooch!

Me encantaron las fotos! No había abierto el blog por varias semanas. Qué buenas las fotos de Misiones! Y obviamente las de GAby. El disfraz del bebé es espectacular!

As always, good to catch up with your blog...

Gabe is a babe...delicious and all.

I think that park is beautiful and if you make it for the 50 minute walk, good for you!

A thought on nap time...I love hearing about the sacrifices of a first time mama...how does a mom of 5 do the nap thing? She for sure just has to be flexible with the baby sleeping in odd places.

I think you can alter his one nap out of the three (in the carseat, stroller, etc) and still have him go to bed for you at night. I am a control freak with naps, but you for sure have to give yourself some balance to have happiness as well!

I personally think it is better for Gabe to learn how to sleep in a variety of places b/c that gives YOU more freedom to lay him down at a friends house, or even in your arms at church...

You will get the hang of it,and in 6 months you will re-read your blog and just laugh at your learning curve.

Keep us posted!
